Caroline Byrne
Caroline Byrne has had four of her plays produced in the past three years. 'Bubble Bath' was selected as one of six plays by Rikki Beadle Blair MBE for Team Angelica development and received several rehearsed readings. 'How to Make Money from Art' was co-written with C Rosario and produced at Camden Fringe 2015 by Pure Fluke theatre. It received 6 four star reviews. 'a tidy farce' 'Wildesque whimsy, uproarious yet tightly controlled and 'the comic gem of the Camden Fringe.' 'In A Better Place' a tragi-comedy, was produced for the Brighton Fringe 2015, a site specific piece at The Hotel Pelirocco, and was highly recommended by oughttobeclowns (a Top 10 theatre blog) 'the production causes real sparks....the deconstruction of a relationship is skillfully written and handled' It received a four star review from Culture Compass 'an astonishing account of a marriage going south.' 'Blocked' a one woman tragi-comedy about a standup having a melt down, was produced for Brighton Fringe 2017 and received a highly recommended review from The Fringe Review 'a show you should see for outstanding writing and heart in mouth performance' and 'purposeful, powerful and poignant.'
Rachel Goth
As a trained graphic designer Rachel brings a visual approach to her story telling. Her work has been performed at the Brockley Jack and Tristan Bates theatres. Rehearsed readings of her plays have taken place at Page to Stage, the Pleasance Theatre , with the Directors Cut Theatre and also at the Rose Theatre. Some of Rachel's short stories have been published and she has received an award from the Rose Theatre for poignant comedy. An alumni of the Rose Theatre writers group she continues to write together with fellow alumni and will be taking part in a site specific production this summer. Her interest is in telling the small peculiar stories of ordinary people which we can all relate to as human beings.
